Oct. 24, 2020—We previously revealed the mechanism of how vesicular stomatitis virus hijacks Nup98 to block host gene expression. Our most recent work published in PNAS shows that SARS-CoV-2 utilizes a similar strategy to target Nup98 in order to block interferon signaling.
