Spending Time with an Emerging Leader in Cancer Proteomics
Dr. Amanda Hummon, from the University of Notre Dame, visited with students in the department on April 3rd as part of a Captivating Conversations in Chemistry luncheon co-sponsored by NOBCChE and WCC (Women Chemists Committee). Her research focuses on understanding the proteome and transcriptome of cancer cells. She also gave a talk titled “Imaging Mass Spectrometry of 3D Cell Cultures” that evening at the April meeting of the SACP (Society for Analytical Chemists of Pittsburgh).
