Jasmin Tindal Advances to Ph.D. Candidate

On January 14, 2022, Jasmin Tindal successfully passed her qualifying exam to become a Ph.D. candidate in Vanderbilt University’s Department of Chemistry. Jasmin is currently researching the use of brain proteomics to study racial disparities in Alzheimer’s disease.

Jasmin earned her B.S in Chemistry from Queens University of Charlotte in December 2016. She attended the Fisk-Vanderbilt Master’s-to-PhD Bridge program earning her M.S degree. Her thesis work was titled “Synthesis and Characterization of Poly (Xylitol Sebacate) Polymers for Improved Targeted Nanoparticle Drug Delivery”.

Jasmin developed an interest in proteomics and joined the RASR team in Spring 2020.
