Sarah Shaw is a PhD student interested in using learning analytics and education technology to support positive math identity development. Prior to coming to Vanderbilt, Sarah worked in digital literacy and founded an ed tech nonprofit that focused on helping girls access STEM careers. She holds an M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a B.S. in Recreation from Indiana University. When she’s not geeking out over a dataset, she enjoys getting lost in a good book, attempting new recipes, and hiking with her family and huskies.
