Postdoctoral Research Position in Semiconductor Physics and Computational Modeling
The EEDG at Vanderbilt University is seeking a motivated postdoctoral researcher with strong theoretical and computational skills to complement our experimental work in semiconductor physics. Responsibilities
- Perform simulations to support and explain experimental findings in semiconductor devices and materials.
- Collaborate with group members to design experiments informed by theoretical insights.
- Mentor graduate students and assist with research proposals and publications.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of semiconductor physics and solid-state physics.
- Proficiency with tools like COMSOL or TCAD for modeling and simulations.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with a proven publication record.
