Victoria Gaeth


Victoria Gaeth is from Northport, New York and graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) with a B.S in Biotechnology and Molecular Bioscience, minoring in Health and Culture in 2021. Victoria was a member of the RIT varsity cheerleading team, where she competed at the National level. After graduation, Victoria worked as a research technician in the lab of Dr. Dave Tuveson at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory investigating the biology of pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PDAC). In the Tuveson lab, she focused on uncovering the early events driving PDAC initiation and progression, advancing drug discovery efforts targeting KRAS, and identifying key metabolic dependencies for PDAC growth and metastasis. In the DelGiorno lab, Victoria will be investigating the roles of GLP1R and GIPR in pancreatic tumorigenesis. Outside of the lab, Victoria likes to read, try new coffee shops, and spend time with her dog, Stumpy!
