Olivia Armorando

Olivia Amorando is a Master of Education candidate at Vanderbilt University, specializing in Human Development Counseling on the dual track for clinical and school counseling. Her research interests include the effects of trauma on childhood development in children and adolescents

Olivia serves as a Research Assistant in the Fuchs Research Group with Caitlin Craddock, where she contributes to the First Grade Working Memory project. She has developed a strong foundation in online coding, data analysis, and SPSS

Before starting her Master’s, Olivia graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University. During her time there, she worked at the Anxiety and Addictive Behaviors Lab and presented a poster at the 2024 Collaborative Perspectives on Addiction Annual Conference. Her long-term goal is to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and work with children’s advocacy, assessment, and treatment of psychological disorders with a focus on trauma.

Olivia is originally from Pennsylvania, but in her free time, she enjoys solo traveling and spending time with her friends and family
