Deyin Chen
Deyin Chen, M.Ed.
Deyin Chen is a master’s student in the Special Education department at Vanderbilt University with a focus on students with High Incidence Disabilities in grades K through eight. Deyin received her B.S. in Special Education Studies from the University of Georgia. Prior to coming to Vanderbilt, Deyin taught as a resource Math teacher in Duluth, GA for one year. Her research interests include mathematical interventions for low-performing lower grades students, math computation and higher-order problem-solving skills, effective reading comprehension strategies, and inclusive classrooms.
