Caitlin Cushing
Caitlin Cushing, Master’s student
Caitie is a Master’s student in the Special Education department at Vanderbilt University, studying High Incidence Disabilities with a focus on intensive interventions for academics and behavior. Caitie received her B.S. in K-8 High Incidence Special Education from Vanderbilt University. During her undergrad, Caitie worked in a severe special education research lab, where she contributed to two in-progress manuscripts studying the relationship between the self-efficacy and social networks of special educators, speech-language pathologists, and paraprofessionals who work with students who use augmentative and alternative communication. She is originally from Boston, Massachusetts, and enjoys working out, reading thriller novels, and going to country music concerts in her free time. Caitie is funded by the Project BASE training grant.
