Spencer J Rothfuss studied biochemistry at Hillsdale College and taught middle school in New Mexico before matriculating at Vanderbilt in 2022. His research uses cryo-ET to study the role of actin in neuronal synapses. Spencer enjoys playing board games (especially chess) and sports (especially Ultimate Frisbee) and spending time with other people (especially his wife).
