We are excited to welcome Oliver to the lab! He will join the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology. Welcome!

The Zhou lab participates at Vanderbilt Brain Blast! Great job, Liana, Rong, Vihashini and Cici!

We welcome Oliver Chalkley for his last IGP rotation!

We welcome Todd Blakely Jr for his last QCB rotation!

We welcome Kevin McCarty for his last QCB rotation!

The lab welcomes Tanner Shearer for his third IGP rotation!

We welcome Dr. Feng Luo to the lab!

Feng got his Ph.D. in Dr. Cong Liu’s lab at Interdisciplinary Research Center of Biology and Chemistry (IRCBC), Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His Ph.D. project mainly focused on the structural study of important proteins related with neurodegenerative diseases using the method of MicroED. After that, he determined the atomic structures of several GPCRs by cryo-electron microscope single particle analysis. In Dr. Zhou’s lab, he will use cryo-EM to reveal the precise mechanism of neuronal signal transmission and communication.

We welcome Jamie Zhou to the lab!

Jamie is a sophmore at Vanderbilt University, majoring in Computer Science and Cognitive Studies. She is from Beijing, China and is extremely excited to explore her interests in the molecular mechanisms of synaptic transmission in the Zhou lab.

The lab welcomes Caroline Baggeroer for her second IGP rotation!

Welcome Saksham!
