Feng Luo

Feng Luo received his B.S. degree in Pharmacology from Jilin University, China, and his Ph.D. degree in Cell Biology from the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2019. In 2022, he joined Dr. Qiangjun Zhou’s lab at Vanderbilt University.
His previous work involved phase separation of amyloid proteins related to neurodegenerative diseases. In Qiangjun’s lab, Feng’s work revolves around the development of innovative genetically encoded tags for cryo-electron tomography (cryo-ET). Outside of research, he enjoys watching soccer matches, cooking, and traveling.
