External Users

The Vanderbilt MNL is fully-equipped to perform behavioral testing experiments for Investigators at external Institutions. Please contact Fiona Harrison for more information, to discuss experimental design, or to obtain a quote.

 

Quotes will be provided according to the projected experimental design and will include housing and animal care costs, as well as equipment, room and technician time. Raw data will be provided to the experimenter, along with analysis and interpretation of findings.

 

When planning your experiments with us please consider the following:

 

Animals arriving from an outside institution will be subject to 4-6 weeks of quarantine.

Animals from approved vendors can be shipped directly to our facility.

Ideally, experiments should be performed with both male and female mice, with a minimum of 8 mice per group to allow for adequately-powered statistical analyses.
