Naima is a PhD student in Computer Science at Vanderbilt. Her research aims to explore the risky situations teens encounter online and collaborate with them to co-design technological interventions. Her research involves consistently applying the principles of Participatory Design (PD) and Participatory Action Research (PAR), as she believes in designing with teens, not just for teens, to create interventions that promote self-regulation and empower them to take control of their online safety.
