We welcome Ph.D. rotation student Natalya Ortolano!

Posted by on Monday, January 4, 2016 in News.

My name is Natalya Ortolano and I recently graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi with a B.S. in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Microbiology.  I am currently in my first year in the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Biological and Biomedical Sciences.  My main research interests are cellular signaling and the contribution of signaling dysfunction to the development of diseases such as cancer.  I’m looking forward to exploring the role of the PARC protein in regulating stem cell survival during my rotation in the Gama Lab.
