What we study

We are interested in understanding the capacity limits of human information processing (e.g. why can't we do two tasks at once?), the nature of attention and the role of consciousness.  We work at the intersection of mind and brain and use both behavioral and neurobiological (fMRI, TMS and EEG) techniques to address these issues.

We also have a second interest in the field of 'neurolaw', specifically in understanding the behavioral and neural bases of legal decision making.
