Ruby Pitts
Research Technician
Ruby received her B.S. in Biology from Georgia Southern University in 2025. During that time, she worked with Dr. Mark Dela Cerna doing computational analysis of Protein Tyrosine Phosphatases and identifying possible molecular inhibitors. Following graduation, she joined the Meydan Lab as a Technician and will be studying the co-translational role of ribosomal stalling. Outside of the lab, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and painting.
