Alexis Roberson
Alexis received her B.S. in Chemistry from Emory University in 2022 and M.S. in Chemistry from Fisk University in 2024. She joined the Meydan lab from the Quantitative and Chemical Biology (QCB) program in the spring of 2025. In the Meydan lab, Alexis is studying translation regulation in neurons and is investigating how ribosome activity is modulated in the context of neurological disorders such as Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease. Outside of lab, Alexis enjoys listening to music, spending time with family, and eating Mott’s fruit snacks.
