Nolawi Alemayehu

Nolawi is a freshman majoring in biological sciences and minoring in computer science at Vanderbilt University. He joined the lab in 2024 and he is working with Dr. Sami to elucidate the underlying mechanisms of proteins that mediate the microtubule cross linking network and developing an individual project on the crosstalk between microtubules and actin filaments. In the future, he hopes to earn an MD/PhD or a PhD in either Biomedical Physics or Cancer Biology.
