Functional Behavior Assessment Decision Tool for Practitioners Supporting Students with Persistent Challenging Behavior

The purpose of the project is to develop a set of tools to guide practitioner selection and implementation of rigorous and relevant functional assessment strategies for elementary-age students with persistent challenging behavior.

The purpose of this project is to pilot a battery of direct behavioral assessments with a sample of youth with disabilities who have been prescribed a psychotropic medication.

Exploring Opportunities for Collaboration between Behavior Specialists and Mental Health Specialists in Schools

The purpose of this project is to learn about the views and experiences of behavior and mental health specialists with respect to collaboration and interdisciplinary teaming. In doing so, we hope to identify key barriers and facilitators to effective collaboration in supporting students with behavioral and social-emotional challenges.
