Dr. Blair Lloyd

Blair Lloyd is an Associate Professor in the Department of Special Education at Vanderbilt University

and a member of the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center. Her areas of specialization include individualized assessments and interventions for students with persistent challenging behavior, issues in observational measurement, and single case research designs. She is a faculty member in the High Incidence and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs.

Dr. Lloyd works closely with masters and doctoral students on research projects aimed to:

  • Design individualized interventions based on results of functional assessments to address challenging behavior in the classroom
  • Teach and coach classroom staff to implement individualized assessments and interventions to address challenging behavior
  • Inform guidelines for observational measurement of challenging behavior and behavior-environment contingencies in classrooms

Dr. Lloyd is also a Co-Primary Investigator on the Tennessee Tiered Supports Center, a technical assistance grant supporting tiered systems of academic and behavior support in Tennessee schools.
