Martha Bass
Martha lived on the farm in Trousdale County where she was raised. She was known to bleed black and gold, especially over Women’s Basketball. She had the distinction of starting her scientific career working for a Nobel Prize winner. She had the dubious honor of keeping everyone happy with reagents and working instruments, and was our baculovirus, protein purification and enzyme assay guru.
