Dr. Santiago is a NIMH CHIPS Fellow working with Dr. Murry on research involving culturally responsive family–school—community partnerships.
Rachel Santiago, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational, School & Counseling Psychology at the University of Missouri. Dr. Santiago earned her PhD in school psychology from the University of Oregon and completed her postdoctoral training at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She is a licensed school psychologist and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist.
Dr. Santiago’s work focuses on social-emotional and mental health outcomes for youth, with an emphasis on culturally responsive practices, implementation science, family–school–community partnerships, and community-engaged scholarship. She currently serves as the Principal Investigator on an Early Career Research Award grant funded by the Society for the Study of School Psychology.
