More people in the world are reaching ‘old age’ today than ever before in history, but this victory of public health is accompanied by an unfortunate side-effect: a new epidemic of chronic, age-associated diseases for which cures remain elusive.

We are interested in combating age-onset diseases like neurodegeneration, cardiovascular disease, cancer and diabetes by understanding and targeting their common risk factor: the aging process itself.
