Welcome to Brett Byram’s Biomedical Elasticity and Acoustic Measurement Laboratory (The BEAM Lab), part of the Vanderbilt University School of Engineering.

Brett Byram formed the BEAM Lab in August 2013. The lab pursues ultrasonic beamforming and elasticity solutions to clinical problems.

The BEAM Lab is part of the Vanderbilt Biomedical Engineering Department, and is part of the Vanderbilt Institute in Surgery and Engineering (VISE). We are also affiliated with the Vanderbilt University Institute for Imaging Science (VUIIS).

Much of the lab’s code can be found on our GitHub repository. If there’s anything of interest you don’t see there feel free to reach out.
