Here&#8217;s what you should know:<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong><br \/>\nPhD Students<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"376\" data-end=\"416\"><strong data-start=\"376\" data-end=\"414\">Next planned admissions: Fall 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"418\" data-end=\"614\">PhD students are the backbone of our research team, and we\u2019re always excited to meet talented individuals who share our passion for biomechanics, wearable technology, and translational research.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"616\" data-end=\"795\">The number and focus of available positions vary each year. Please review <a href=\"http:\/\/engineering.vanderbilt.edu\/me\/graduates\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this link<\/a> for info on the application process and deadlines. He typically reserves time November\u2013March to correspond with prospective students\u2014feel free to follow up with him during this period.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Important note:<\/strong> Application Fees Waived for Ph.D. Applicants*<\/em><\/p>\n<p>*Application fees will be waived for ALL students currently enrolled in, or who have graduated from, U.S. schools who are applying to the Fall 2026 Vanderbilt School of Engineering Ph.D. programs. Fee waivers may also be available to applicants from non-U.S. institutions. Please check the application portal for eligible institutions. Applications must be received by December 1, 2025 to be eligible for fee waiver. Follow the instructions and apply through their official portal.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Medical Students, Resident or Clinicians<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>We welcome collaborations with medical trainees and clinicians interested in biomechanics, rehabilitation, and assistive technology.
