  1. Postdoc Position Details
    Status: This position has been filled

    The Center for Rehabilitation Engineering & Assistive Technology (CREATE) at Vanderbilt University is looking for an engineering post-doctoral researcher to work on projects involving biomechanics, powered prosthetics, exoskeletons and exosuits. This role will focus on wearable robotic control, development and testing.
  2. Mechanical Design & Innovation Engineer
    This position has been filled
    Please note this is a full-time professional employment position for an experienced engineer and NOT a student assistantship. Qualified postdocs may also apply.Come help us envision, explore and shape the future of wearable tech. We are looking for an experienced, creative and multi-talented design engineer to join our team in the Center for Rehabilitation Engineering & Assistive Technology (CREATE) at Vanderbilt University, where we strive to develop and test next-generation exoskeletons, exosuits, prostheses, smart clothing and wearables in order to improve societal health and well-being. The Mechanical Design & Innovation Engineer will be responsible for designing mechanical systems, components and mechanisms for wearable robotics and leading a variety of design projects focused on wearable technology for physical augmentation. The initial appointment will be for one year, with the opportunity for renewal.
