UAV Controller Evaluation Framework is Presented at AIAA Aviation 2024
Ph.D. student Austin Coursey recently presented his work “An Experimental Framework for Evaluating the Safety and Robustness of UAV Controllers” at the 2024 AIAA Aviation Forum. This work outlines a simple framework that facilitates evaluating and comparing the safety of UAV controllers. This work was inspired by results from the lab’s NASA System-Wide Safety project. Austin co-chaired and presented his work in the System-Wide Safety session at Aviation.
