Undergraduate Lab Manager
I am a junior majoring in Sociology and minoring in Data Science and Asian American and Asian Diaspora Studies. After Vanderbilt, I plan on going to graduate school for Sociology. My research interests lie in the intersection of race, gender, and sexuality with a focus on Queer Asian Americans. In my free time, I enjoy embroidering, watching movies, and cooking Filipino food with friends.

I am a junior majoring in Psychology and Medicine, Health, and Society, and minoring in Scientific Computing. My research interests include health disparities, mental illness, and race & ethnicity. I plan on attending graduate school for clinical psychology. Outside the lab, you can find me at the gym, playing (and losing) at chess, or hanging out with my friends.

I am a junior majoring in Medicine, Health, and Society with a minor in Spanish. My research interests lie in race, gender, mental illness, and health disparities. I am a sophomore studying Environmental Sociology with a minor in Sustainability Studies. My interests include business and the environment, biomimicry, cognition and foreign intelligence.  After graduating, I plan on working in environmental consulting and conservation before earning an environmental law degree. In my free time, I enjoy playing rugby, golf, and exploring the natural world.

I am a sociology PhD candidate at the University of Iowa, also the Graduate Manager for the Center of the Study of Group Processes. My research focuses on applying social psychological theories to identify mechanisms reproducing social class and race inequality. My current project examines how status inequality spread through routine collaborative role interactions. In my free time, I like watching amine, working out with friends, and cooking.

I graduated with a PhD in sociology, focusing on sexuality & relationships as well as social psychology as part of the class of 2022. My dissertation focused on dating applications, but I also worked with Dr. Manago on gendered and racialized mental health stigma. Other than my work, I enjoy reading and being outside!

Former Undergraduate Lab Manager

I am a Class of 2022 graduate who majored in Sociology with a minor in Computer Science. During the summer after graduation, I am working as a research intern at NORC at the University of Chicago in their Public Opinion & Media Affairs Department. In the fall, I will be attending the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago to persue their Master of Science in Computational Analysis and Public Policy Program. I am interested in research at the intersection of social welfare policy and data science. In my free time, you can find me drinking coffee, knitting, or reading a book outside.
