Kaitlyn Stepler is a Ph.D. candidate in the RASR Lab. She graduated from McDaniel College in Westminster, MD in 2015 with a B.A. in Exercise Science/Chemistry and a minor in Spanish and joined RASR Laboratory in May 2016. Kaitlyn is currently using proteomics to study the brain and racial disparities in Alzheimer’s disease, and is a predoctoral trainee on the Vanderbilt Interdisciplinary Training Program in Alzheimer’s Disease T32 training grant. She currently serves on the executive boards for the Chemical Biology Association of Students and the Nashville NOBCChE chapter. In her free time she enjoys going on adventures with her dog.
