Bailey Bowser is currently a second-year graduate student in the Department of Chemistry at RASR Lab at Vanderbilt University. She was born and raised in the Hoosier state and graduated from Butler University with a B.S. in Chemistry in May 2018. Upon joining RASR Laboratory in 2019, Bailey started developing a novel peptide label to enhance multiplexing capabilities in proteomic studies. Bailey is currently a member of the Graduate Women in Science (GWIS) organization and Vanderbilt Warren Committee. In her free time, she enjoys hiking local trails with her husband, cooking, and teaching her Corgi puppy, Hoosier, new tricks.
