Arielle Fortune is a Graduate Student at Vanderbilt University seeking her MS degree in Biomedical Sciences. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS in biology from Alabama A&M University in Huntsville, AL. Arielle joined RASR Lab in September 2022, as a Graduate Research Assistant. She currently specializes in using high-throughput proteomics to study human cell lines to elucidate potential biomarkers for Alzheimer’s disease research. Her focus is the ABCA7 project, in collaboration with Dr. Davis’s Lab at Meharry Medical College. Upon graduating Vanderbilt, she plans to go to Medical School. She is a retired soccer player and during her downtime she enjoys watching crime documentaries and the company of family and friends.
