Amy Weitlauf, Ph.D., is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Associate Director of Research at VKC TRIAD. She is a member of the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center and the Frist Center for Autism and Innovation. Her research interests include creating accessible and equitable pathways for the early diagnosis of autism; supporting the parents of people with autism, especially newly diagnosed young children; and the novel application of technologies (such as virtual reality, artificial intelligence, multimodal sensing, and collaborative virtual environments) to improve the wellbeing, safety, and inclusion of people with autism across the lifespan.
