Ashwaq Zaini Amat

Lecturer, Department of Electrical Engineering at Vanderbilt


Ashwaq Zaini Amat earned her Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University in 2009. After working as an IT consultant for four years, she went on to complete her MS degree in Embedded Systems Engineering at University of Leeds, UK in 2014. She sucessfully defended her PhD in 2023 and is now a Lecturer for the Electrical Engineering Department at Vanderbilt Univeristy. Her research interests include Machine Learning, Human Computer Interaction and Robotics.
