Chloe Hecht

Chloe attended Cornell University where she received a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences with a concentration in biochemistry. During her undergraduate studies she worked in a plant pathology lab to gain insights into the molecular basis of plant-pathogen interactions at the Boyce Thompson Institute. After undergrad she worked as an RA at Stanford University in a biochemistry lab interested in the molecular mechanisms of Parkinson’s disease. Chloe entered Vanderbilt though the QCB program and joined the Page-McCaw lab to understand the mechanistic role of MMPs in basement membrane homeostasis and repair.
