Can Yilgor
Can came to Vanderbilt from UCLA, where he majored in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology. As an undergraduate, he worked in the laboratory of Dr. Aparna Bhaduri, studying neural stem cell fate specification in glioblastoma. Can then joined the IGP program at Vanderbilt in 2024 and became a member of the Page-McCaw Lab in 2025 to study basement membrane repair mechanisms. Outside the lab, Can enjoys watching movies, reading, and playing tennis.
