Bryant Humphries
Bryant graduated from William and Mary in 2024 where he majored in
biology and minored in chemistry. As an undergraduate, Bryant spent four
years in the lab of Dr Oliver Kerscher, researching the cytosolic SUMO
stress response in budding yeast. He came to Vanderbilt through the IGP
and joined the Page-McCaw lab in 2025, where he is studying how cells
detect basement membrane damage. Outside of the lab, Bryant enjoys
playing the banjo, exploring the Nashville music scene, and attending
Vanderbilt sporting events.
