May. 16, 2022—James White et al published a new paper in JoVE! This paper demonstrates a reproducible protocol for dissecting and fixing the Drosophila melanogaster pupal notum for antibody and cell staining on new or previously live-imaged samples.

Jan. 8, 2022—James O’Connor et al published a new paper in PLoS One! This work characterized several different types of cellular damage within a wounded epithelial tissue, allowing for distinct regions of damage to be estimated after measuring any one type of damage.
James O’Connor wins Steve Hann CDB Outstanding Graduate Student Award!
Jan. 6, 2022—James O’Connor won the Steve Hann CDB Outstanding Graduate Student Award at the 2021 CDB retreat on October 22nd. The CDB outstanding grad student award is “given annually in recognition of outstanding research achievements by a graduate student” and is named for the late Steve Hann, a former DGS of CDB. Congratulations James!
