Katherine “Elkie” Peebles
Elkie started out as a research assistant in the lab in June 2021. She is now a graduate student in the lab entering through IGP and she works on the basement membrane project in the gut of Drosophila. She graduated from Lee University in 2018 where she majored in Biological Sciences. Outside of the lab, you can find her playing Dungeons and Dragons or going on a walk with her husband Matthew and dog Ginger.
