Morgan grew up in Fort Mill, South Carolina and went to Clemson University where she received her B.S. in biochemistry and a minor in chemistry. She did her undergraduate departmental honors thesis in small molecule screening and combinatorial drug design for cryptococcal meningitis infections. When Morgan is not in the lab, she enjoys running, reading, Pilates, and trying new coffee shops.
