B.S. Biochemistry – Tufts University

Jake grew up in Sudbury, MA. He graduated from Tufts University with a B.S. in Biochemistry and a minor in Economics. During undergrad, he worked in Dr. McVey’s lab studying the role of Replication Protein A in alternative end-joining DNA double strand break repair. In the Mitchell Lab, Jake works on developing RiPP macrocycles with therapeutic potential. Outside of the lab Jake enjoys playing soccer, board games, and playing cards.
