Mayuresh is from Peoria, Illinois. He attended Bradley University where he received a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry-Business followed by a master’s degree in Chemistry. For his master’s thesis research project, he worked under Dr. Arijit Sengupta to study iron-porphyrin containing crosslinked polymers as heterogeneous catalysts for carbene insertion reactions. He joined the Mitchell research group in Fall 2020. Some of his hobbies include playing basketball and hiking/travelling.
