Tobii Pro 3 Eye Tracking Glasses<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Tobii Pro Glasses are wearable eye trackers that enable easy, precise, and efficient collection of data in a wide variety of research scenarios. Their lightweight design ensures natural behavior and maintains research accuracy in both qualitative and quantitative settings. These glasses provide reliable and accurate eye-tracking capabilities even in unpredictable and real-world environments.<\/p>\n

LIVE has 5 pairs of Tobii Pro Glasses that can be reserved. To submit a reservation request, email live@vanderbilt.edu with the number of glasses you need and the dates you need them. New users will be required to attend a 30-minute training session before checking out the Tobii Pro Glasses.<\/p>\n

Meta Quest 2 Headsets<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Meta Quest 2 headsets are advanced virtual reality devices that deliver immersive and versatile VR experiences for research, teaching, and collaboration. Their lightweight and wireless design allows for natural movement and ease of use, enabling effective engagement in diverse academic and professional scenarios. These headsets support a wide range of VR applications, from interactive simulations to virtual environments for experimental studies.<\/p>\n

LIVE has 15 Meta Quest 2 headsets available for reservation. To submit a reservation request, email live@vanderbilt.edu with the number of headsets you need and the dates you need them. New users will be required to attend a 30-minute training session before checking out the Meta Quest 2 headsets.<\/p>\n

LIVE Research Engineer<\/strong><\/h3>\n

LIVE\u2019s Research Engineer is available to assist with building a range of applications and services. He is familiar with various programming languages, including C\/C++, C#, Python and Rust. He has industry experience building and supporting backend web applications and cloud infrastructures. He is also proficient\u00a0in creating graphical applications that incorporate a number of technologies, e.g. cloud computing, AR\/VR, eye tracking and generative AI.<\/div>\n

LIVE\u2019s Research Engineer has specific experience with:<\/div>\n
    \n
  • Cross-platform graphical applications\u00a0made with the\u00a0Unity game engine<\/li>\n
  • Backend systems and web applications<\/li>\n
  • REST\/gRPC protocols and API design\/implementation<\/li>\n
  • Databases (SQL\/PostgreSQL, Redis)<\/li>\n
  • Server hosting\/management with cloud providers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Computer Science Postdoctoral Fellow<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    LIVE’s CS Postdoctoral Fellow is knowledgeable in a variety of programming languages and technologies. He has worked on projects combining accessible, block-based programming with robots and mixed reality platforms for educational use, along with new generative AI projects for assisting in creative tasks.<\/div>\n
