Fanjie Li is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Teaching and Learning at Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College and a doctoral researcher with the LIVE Initiative. Her research is situated at the intersection of artificial intelligence in education, human-centered informatics, and the learning sciences. Focusing on the human-centered design of learning analytics and AI systems, her current work includes developing asset-based generative AI applications for diverse educational contexts, creating learning analytics tools to support reflective practices in clinical education, and designing analytics and AI tools that afford more humanistic, inclusive, and equitable learning experiences.
