Tobii Pro 3 Eye Tracking Glasses
Tobii Pro Glasses are wearable eye trackers that enable easy, precise, and efficient collection of data in a wide variety of research scenarios. Their lightweight design ensures natural behavior and maintains research accuracy in both qualitative and quantitative settings. These glasses provide reliable and accurate eye-tracking capabilities even in unpredictable and real-world environments.
LIVE has 5 pairs of Tobii Pro Glasses that can be reserved. To submit a reservation request, email live@vanderbilt.edu with the number of glasses you need and the dates you need them. New users will be required to attend a 30-minute training session before checking out the Tobii Pro Glasses.
LIVE Research Engineer
LIVE’s Research Engineer is available to assist with building a range of applications and services. He is familiar with various programming languages, including C/C++, C#, Python and Rust. He has industry experience building and supporting backend web applications and cloud infrastructures. He is also proficient in creating graphical applications that incorporate a number of technologies, e.g. cloud computing, AR/VR, eye tracking and generative AI.
LIVE’s Research Engineer has specific experience with:
- Cross-platform graphical applications made with the Unity game engine
- Backend systems and web applications
- REST/gRPC protocols and API design/implementation
- Databases (SQL/PostgreSQL, Redis)
- Server hosting/management with cloud providers
Computer Science Postdoctoral Fellow
LIVE’s CS Postdoctoral Fellow is knowledgeable in a variety of programming languages and technologies. He has worked on projects combining accessible, block-based programming with robots and mixed reality platforms for educational use, along with new generative AI projects for assisting in creative tasks.
LIVE’s CS Postdoctoral Fellow has specific experience with:
- Programming (C#, Rust, Python, JavaScript) and software design/development
- Educational robotics and educational robotics simulations
- Augmented/Virtual Reality and game engines
- Generative AI applications
- AWS cloud resources
