Jacob earned his Ph.D. in medicinal chemistry from the University of Minnesota in 2023, working on the discovery of novel melanocortin receptor and other g-protein-coupled receptor ligands under the direction of Dr. Carrie Haskell – Luevano.

Jacob joined the Lindsley lab as a postdoctoral research fellow in 2023 and is currently working on the discovery and synthesis of antagonists for protease-activated receptor 4 (PAR4).

Jacob’s research interests are in medicinal chemistry and combinatorial library design targeting central nervous system disorders and neurodegeneration.
