MARCH 2026

We hosted a hands-on methods workshop with Dr. Emanuela Struffolino (University of Milan; President, Sequence Analysis Association), whose research explores labor markets, poverty, gender inequality, and social stratification using longitudinal methods. The session introduced sequence analysis, including its theoretical foundations, key tools, and practical applications, and highlighted how it can be used to study life course trajectories and uncover the accumulation of social and economic disadvantage over time.
