PEEL Lab
The PEEL lab is led by Dr. Jennifer Ledford, with support from doctoral students in early childhood special education and master’s students from a variety of programs (early childhood, applied behavior analysis, child studies). Dr. Ledford and most students are or intend to become behavior analysts (BCBAs) who work in early childhood settings.
About Us
The primary mission of Ledford Lab is to improve the lives of children and their caregivers.
We do this by:
- Making decisions based on what we think is best for children, understanding that our biases play a role in that determination;
- Learning about and engaging in good instruction;
- Being good humans to children, each other, and other adults.
In the lab, we conduct primarily single case research to determine under what conditions certain interventions work to improve outcomes for young children. We conduct most of our work in local school and community settings, including the Susan Gray School for Children.
