Maeve Hasselman is an early childhood special education teacher employed through the Department of Defense Education Activity. Her current assignment is Pierce Terrace Elementary School on Fort Jackson in Columbia, South Carolina. She is from Oakmont, PA, and she has a bachelor’s degree from Saint Vincent College in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. She graduated from the Vanderbilt Early Childhood Special Education master’s program in 2020, and was a Susan Gray fellow in Mighty Chipmunks and Frog Friends. Her favorite memory was getting to see skills that were taught to the children in nap group (run by Ledford Lab) generalize to the classrooms in SGS where she taught. Her favorite book series to read with children are the Llama Llama books.
