Preschool and Early Elementary Learning (PEEL) Lab

Anne Lord is currently an early childhood special education teacher for Williamson County Schools in Tennessee, after graduating from the Vanderbilt ECSE program in 2019. She is a prior graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in Multiple Abilities, and is originally from McLean, Virginia. Her favorite memory of the program at Vanderbilt is teaching turn-taking and other social skills through fun games during our daily naptime group. Her favorite book to read as a child, and with her students today, is “Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse” by Kevin Henkes.
